✨Diamonds On The Water ✨ 10x10In circular wood panel.

Last summer, my friend Kaila and I were at the beach discussing how beautiful it was. I told her one of my favorite things to look at is the sunlight reflecting off the surface of the water, creating this glistening effect as the waves rush in. She started telling me how her dad use to take her to the beach and they would refer to it as “Diamonds on the water.” I thought that was so beautiful, and from that moment on knew I wanted to re-create that look in a painting, hence what you’re seeing here. To make it even more special, Kaila decided to purchase this painting as a gift for her father. I really enjoyed the process of creating this one. I’m teaching myself to approach the canvas with more ease and full presence, and I believe it made a difference.
