The moment I saw this photograph, I knew I had to paint it! I referenced a picture taken by an incredible photographer Ross Draper, if you like beautiful scenery you’ll love his page @biearthworks!
For awhile I’ve wanted to paint a wave like this, barreling over creating an almost glassy appearance at the top of the wave. I had a blast working on this piece and look forward to creating more like it! I’m so happy with how it turned out, may even be one of my favorites!
